April just flew by, and as we start May, we have the opportunity to celebrate all of the moms in our lives. And what better way to celebrate than to write Bible verses for Mother’s Day on the cards you’re making for those special women in your life?

I know that Mother’s Day can be a difficult holiday for some – whether you’re dealing with loss, strained relationships, pain from the past, or other hurts, it may seem like there’s little to celebrate. But friend, there is so much love in this world; I pray that you find comfort in celebrating the miracle of life with the sisters and friends you have in your life.     Lord God, thank you so much for your word and the truths we find there.

    We are so very thankful for the gift of new life, and we are so grateful for the mothers who have stood by us, raised us, taken care of us, nurtured us, and guided us into the people we are today. I pray for those who are hurting this holiday, and I pray that you’ll bless all of the amazing mothers in each of our lives. Thank you for this life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
